[SLL] mobile data plans?

Hi there,
Speaking of data plans, I'll be in the US (specifically in Silicon
Valley) for a few months starting from mid-August. Any recommendations
for data plans? I am a heavy Net user (currently I have a 60GB per
month plan at home (cable), and 500MB per month on my iPhone), but the
catch is I cannot go on a long-term plan while in the US (maximum of
4, or 5, or 6 month plan).

Appreciate any input.

Cheers,
Hossein
