[SLL] VPS servers / cheap rackspace in Seattle?

I am interested in a VPS server located someplace in Seattle.

I'm looking for a VPS server where I can go wild with my projects just like I can do on my own machine. I'm mainly looking for something where I can max out memory, CPU or bandwidth without effecting other users.

I would just rent some rack space and get my own server, but that costs more money and uses more electricity, especially since I won't be using the VPS server 24/7.

Here are two cool places that I found, I just wish they were in Seattle!

A friend of mine told me about this place called VPSland... I was wondering if anyone has any info about how they treat their customers, etc. Are they any good? Are their servers accessible most of the time?

They have linux VPS's starting at $14 a month, but they aren't located in Seattle.

I also found this place called ImHosted...

http://imhosted.com/

This is where I currently have my hosting. They are pretty awesome. I love these guys!! They have unlimited bandwidth and diskspace on a fat network!

ImHosted has deal that ends today for 3 months of FREE service! I would sign up for that, but I already have an account there. They are pretty cool, but they don't offer VPS. They do offer shell accounts, but frown upon doing any memory, CPU or bandwidth intensive tasks for any length of time. They are mainly a webhosting company and offer some awesome services for the price they are asking! I just wish they had VPS or rack space in Seattle!

The main reason that I want a VPS is so that I can bypass my slow and retarded consumer grade Qwest router. It is always crashing on me. With a VPS account, then I won't have to deal with that issue as much.

The main reason that I want to be located in Seattle is mostly for latency issues, plus, if I decide to get a real server, then I will be able to have physical access to it.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
