[SLL] rsync(ish) with shell access

If you can "look like a drive on windoze" then you can use rsync. Rsync 
isn't just for remote transfers. You can rsync from one folder to another 
if you really want to. Just mount the drive "like on windoze" and rsync 
from one directory to the other.
