[SLL] Courier 10 Pitch for openoffice 2? font/type detection tools?

The font files I have are in pfb format (Postscript Type 1). I will need 
to convert to TTF. The other problem is I don't know what directory to 
place in and if I need to tell openoffice about them. I am having a tough 
time finding docs about this.

Slowly becoming a Texan. I have two sons who are native Texans!

We went to Snohomish county for a couple weeks in early December. We 
enjoyed the snow and left before the floods.
