Well, I'm not sure.  But if his job involved surreptitiously
installing software on people's computers to spy on them -- even
if it was his job to do so -- then it kind of seems like he
shouldn't be in a position of such influence.

That's good to hear.  Maybe, then, his position does not provide him
the influence that it seems upon first consideration to provide.

Agreed -- with good reason.  He noted that in his blog entry.
