[SLL] OLPC seems to go to the dark side

It is obvious that cash is a very strong human attractor and social
disruptor. However, one should not feel the OLPC game is lost. M$ or
Wintel may own stadiums, rules, teams, refs, and cheerleaders. This
does not imply that OLPC must aspire to play their game.

With respect to XP running on OLPC, the official word is OS
independence. I saw a home grown demonstration of Ubuntu on OLPC.
There is an active Seattle OLPC group. Check the OLPC Linuxfest
Northwest Wiki.
