there would be a OSX, Vista and 'Linux' machine and were able to prepare
beforehand. OSX was cracked with a Safari exploit that the user had to
execute. Vista was harder because they didn't plan for a SP1 patched
system (otherwise it would possibly had been cracked during the external
attack). Given the variety of Linux distributions available it is no
surprise that it wasn't a focus of the teams.

There certainly are cracks that could have been applied, but trying to
cover the possible permutations would not have been as 'cost effective'.
