[SLL] Fedora 8 - unresolved dependency on gnome-python

I've got Fedora 8 and have gotten into yum dependency hell.
Not sure how I even got here, but for some time now I have not been able to
do a "yum update" because there was one unresolved dependency on
gnome-python package.
Long story short, I installed the yum plugin that allows partial updates and
skips broken dependencies (yum --skip-broken). I am down to one package,
which is, of course, gnome-python. You'd think that if you isolated it down
to the one package, and an update is available that you'd be home free.
Apparently not for me.
Running the package updater, trying up update gnome-python package errors
out with:
Missing Dependency: gnome-python2 = 2.20.0-1.fc8 is needed by package
gnome-python2-bonobo
Any ideas?
