Something to note here for the record... older computers will likely have
USB 1.1 ports. This can be got around by dint of USB2 add-on cards (either
PCMCIA for laptops, or PCI for anything else)...
That said, a bit of CAT5 is cheaper than either, and you probably have it
laying around. :)
