[SLL] backup to Windows, restore on Linux

What about using a bigger USB Stick, a 2GB or 4GB stick or if you are
luckier you might have one that is bigger than 5GB then you can just
copy it all to that.
I would just copy as much as I can on to the CDs or USB sticks if
available, then transfer.  Without using a backup program.  you can use
tar.gz or .zip files to try and compress them to make them fit on the
media better. But it might make it more work then necessary. Just copy
the folders as you can, if some are too big, then split up the files
under them.
