Hi Mitch,
Long time lurker first time poster (actually I posted a lot back in the 90s, but
here goes)
What did you have in mind for "promoting" ?
My immediate reaction is "northwest centric is better" because thats just how I
am, I am certain there's plenty of national linux lists, and I'm not sure how
promoting this nationally benefits anyone but to increase the volume without the
value.
Of course, its "your" list you can do with it what you want. But it probably
would make organizing events around the northwest less useful to do so on a
national list for linux journal, if in fact thats what you want to evolve this
into being.
