[SLL] Perl and MySQL for LAMP

What about Ruby???  I hope it is welcome on the LAMP stack!
Perhaps I'm just a LAMeR who considers that extra little leg on the R
invisible ;-)

As far as PERL resources go, I found amazing help could be had from 
http://www.perlmonks.org
community, but I have long since left the fold of PERL to venture out 
into the world of Ruby
application development.  I think Ruby and Python both have some 
advantages over PERL, but PERL
has a great community and will always have a place in my heart.
