[SLL] Sniff local application traffic

Does anyone know of a quick, easy way I can sniff a local application's Internet
traffic? This should be a simple problem--I have an application running on this
computer that I'm trying to use for something, and I just need to know if it's
actually trying to pull data from the Internet like it should be, and ideally,
what data it's trying to request.
