It's not conditional on the session being detached. It will power-detach
the session before attaching locally. This is the same technique I use. I
like it becuase it forces a resize of the screen for the terminal I happen
to be using (for some reason, I never stick to any particular size of
screen occasionally resizing them). And it leave me wondering if I've left
the session attached elsewhere where someone might be watching the
computer type to itself.
