We have Zimbra running at of our client's sites on CentOS 4.5.
The biggest issues I see are (a) it takes over a major part of
the system (e.g. apache, openldap, amavisd, spamassassin, clamav,
...), and Zimbra isn't too good about keeping the versions current.
I think we have better solutions for general e-mail filtering and
delivery, but if one just has to have the Exchange functionallity,
Zimbra seems to be a good solution. Personally I would prefer to
have the Zimbra machine sitting behind a firewall, and process
incoming mail through another machine where I have control of
things like clamav, then passing clean mail through to the Zimbra
machine.

When dealing with any spammer, one must always keep in mind that you
are dealing with someone who makes their living through forgery, fraud,
theft, subterfuge and obfuscation. Stated simply, spammers lie.
