[SLL] External Drives

I have 4 250GB LaCie Porsche drives running in a RAID-5 for several
months now.  When I picked them up from the site they were >100 USD
reconditioned and they've served me well so far.  I haven't opened
them but I think LaCie uses Western Digital drives in their
enclosures.

However, not all have been as happy and there are complaints about
LaCie's warranty service:
