We like them all in one piece. The fewer bits of hardware, the better.
But of course, that's because we have 6 people working in our upstairs,
which is a half-floor of some 450 square feet, with two childs' rooms
and a landing. There's no room for another piece of hardware, at least
if it's not something we can put in the basement with the servers!
You know, our copier is on the fritz. We have an HP Photosmart
all-in-one deal here. Printing works. Scanning works. Faxing works. But
copying? The thing starts bucking and grinding, then beeps saying
there's an error and gives up. You'd think if printing and scanning both
work separately, they would work together and give us a simple copy
without needing a computer in the middle of the process.
But no.
