We've got a HP Color LaserJet 3500 which is fine with the newer distros. We got it for office use (i.e., Windows and Mac users) a couple of years ago and I was pleasantly surprised that it was no problem printing from Fedora. It has zeroconf and TCP/IP jetdirect.
