[SLL] Problems with my latest Toshiba Satellite (S7422)

Has anyone else had problems with new Toshiba Laptops this year?  I've 
had good luck with the other three I've used, but this one is working 
very badly.  Crashes all the time (No it's not just Gutsy, as my old one 
doesn't have the crashing and freezeup problems to this extent).  Repeat 
function going away appears to be an early symptom.  Then other things 
start to go wrong.

I also never got my rebate back for the purchase, despite my careful 
handling of it and registered mail.
