[SLL] Recipe for success: WRT54GL

Thanks to the gang that suggested DD-WRT for my WRT54GL... used IEeeeee to
flash the "mini" version, since the WRT54GL won't take a flash >3mb with the
stock firmware, and "generic" is a touch over that... then thought I'd
bricked it when the wlan light wouldn't come on after the hard reset
recommended post-flash... but poking around on a different page found tht
you need to briefly (10sec) power cycle it *again* after the 30/30/30
sequence the first time (that's hold down RESET with it on for thirty
seconds, keep holding it after pulling the plug for thirty seconds, then
re-plug it (still holding reset! this requires judicious use of fingers and
palms) and continue holding reset for 30 sec... *then* let the router go
through one power-light-blink cycle, or ~30sec, power cycle it *again* for
ten seconds, and then it will come up, power will blink for ~15sec, and then
the WLAN light will come on and all will be right with the world).

I did NOT have to do the ten-second power cycle after 30/30/30'ing the
router after flashing Generic... it just came up and was right as rain.

I'm looking forward to futzing with the little guy; first thing I want to do
is turn it into a client...
