[SLL] dd-wrt redux

Notes all over the dd-wrt page say to use IE to upload the first (mini)
flash of dd-wrt to one's WRT54GL.  In untypical fashion, I'm going to do
just that here in a few whilst waiting for this answer... but I've a second
WRT54GL I may wish to flash later, and I may not have a 'Doze box to flash
it with.  Is there a known successful way to initial-flash a WRT54GL using
only free software?  (I use the lowercase f here 'cause I don't care if it's
Opera, nor do I care if it's Solaris or BSD or whathaveyou, just so long as
it's an OS and browser I can download for free.)
