I plugged it back into my F9 desktop this morning and presto! it was
listed in the NetworkManager GUI. I entered the password and it
connected just fine. I'm not sure why it worked today and not yesterday
- -- the system hasn't been rebooted since the last failed attempt.
So, the good news is that it actually can work. That makes me feel alot
better :)
Now I *just* need to figure out how to automate it on the target system
(no desktop) so that it doesn't need any user interaction for setup.
