[SLL] WRT54GL --> wireless to wired repeater?

Y'all know and love the WRT54GL, and it does quite well at taking somebody's
broadband signal in and letting wireless clients connect to it.  I want to
turn it around:  Grab a wireless signal, and let wired clients connect to
it.  Obviously (I think) the stock firmware won't do this (if it does,
please to show me how?)... what would be the best firmware package to drop
on it to make it do this?  GUI setup, or do I get to actually ssh into the
thing and just treat it more or less like I would any other Linux box?
