I honestly don't know.  I work remotely so I rarely if ever deal with
resource booking.

At times it's very slow, but then again we have one corporate zimbra
server in a colo center in Phoenix, and I'm here in WA using a vpn to
Boston, to then get to the Zimbra server in PHX.  It's not the most
efficient setup.

It think the important part with thunderbird is something called
lightening.  I'm not sure though, I can't stand thunderbird as an email
client.
