No, that's not what I said. The scheduler *IS* the problem. That's why a 
real time kernel should solve your problem. However, that being said, I 
have an unprovable feeling that they could re-engineer their app and it 
would work just fine without a real time kernel.

I am fairly confidend that the network interface is not your problem.
