[SLL] Off subject question.

Hello,

Have an off subject question.

We have a client that needs to get registration information when their 
client installs software.

They had been using FTP to do this but this has many security issues. 
Email of course cannot be used. What do people use to get this information 
back when someone registers software. I need to set up something on our 
Linux servers so information can get to the right person with out big 
security risk.
