Which is why PackageKit is such a great idea.

Personally, I love all the Fedora/Red Hat/CentOS/Debian/Ubuntu/SuSE
competition going, especially since a lot (unfortunately not all) fixes are
getting upstream and helping everyone. And, political pundits aside, there
is still some truth to that saying about no such thing as bad publicity.

My personal unscientific prediction is that large orgs are going to
continue with
EL or SLES paid support, and that shops with just a couple of servers will go
to Canonical because they've heard it's "easy" and they are uncomfortable with
the Enterprisey Feel that you get looking at from http://www.redhat.com/
In that case all Canonical needs is call center staff and a few decent
engineers with good people skills.
