Good old-fashioned rsync worked just fine a couple weeks ago; I borked the
heck out of my old Sarge setup trying to clean it up to get ready for Etch,
so I just dropped a new WD4000JB in my only-slightly-ancient Pogo box,
setting the old disk to Slave into the bargain, laid down a pristine Etch,
and did all my useradds without the -m flag, and then just did "rsync -av
/home2 /home/." and took a break.

When it got done, I logged in as me, and things were pretty much back to
normal....

Besides. /home on the Dapper box is a remanufactured Death Star. I think
I'd really rather retire that drive before I find out just how good
Hitachi's Singapore reman lab really is... *knock wood*
