That's not what he said though, he claimed his CPU was only 32bit, not
64bit.

Don't know why you'd do that.  I'm happily using 32bit firefox plugins
via nspluginwrapper on my Fedora 8 (and now rawhide) system.  Flash,
with sound, works great.
