That's because both addresses were in the header.  Side effect of Mutt's "L"
command picking up its own subscription *and* the List-ID.  

I use Mutt too, but I've been reasonably careful to manually edit headers to
avoid duplication; I will probably eventually just blow away the
subscription config line and just let Mutt autodetect.
