Actually, it's Gutsy Gibbon you'd be monkeying around with; they're going
beta just now and will formally release next month. I'm looking forward to
it as this is the one with the 2.6.22(?) kernel, the one with the new WiFi
stack in it. Certain wifi cards really don't like encryption without it.
(I understand that if you have Feisty Fawn you can re-point sources.list and
nab *just* the kernel and associated tools and then point back, but since
I'm a stodgy old greybeard down on Dapper Drake, no such luck.
(If somebody knows how to get a Ralink rt2500 (I think) chipset working with
WPA on Dapper and without using nslookup, which was less than stable for me,
that would be very cool, and save me waiting a month.)
