It's not Linux, but I'm using NetBSD 3.1 on an Ultra 5 (Very similar  
to a 10) without problems. (The floppy drive doesn't work, but I've  
never wanted to use it, and I think that'll be fixed in the upcoming  
4.0 release.) However, NetBSD/sparc64 doesn't do SMP yet, so if you  
have a multi-processor box, it's not a good option.
