And then there's the fact that they've sold out to Yahoo, and the source
code now falls under the "Yahoo! Public Licence"(C)(R)(tm)(eieio), which is
not listed as being OSI- or DFSG-compliant... 

This whole business of having calendaring tightly integrated into email
tightly integrated into the desktop with the little popup alerts (nevermind
the whole contact thingy being in there too) is (a) a bad design for many
reasons and (b) one place where the people in Redmond have *really* got
their hooks into corporate America.  They've got them hooked on this crack
and now they can't do without it... 

This would be more of a rant but... I have a meeting to go to.  *sigh*
