[SLL] Toshiba Laptop A215 with RealTek Wireless and Dolby "Sound Room?"

I got this A215 last week at the Office Depot (There was a rebate).  Ubuntu so
far won't run the sound, nor the Realtek wireless card, and I wonder if I can
get my money back for the M$OS that came with it.  Anybody here of a distro
running on this thing?  What is the latest way to try to get reimbursed for an
OS you don't want to pay for?
