Googling up some code by Rubini seems to indicate that these are allocated
dynamically and the only limit is buffer space... YMMV and I didn't actually
go read the full device driver code, but I suppose one could... 

If this is the case, then it's kinda cool... I wonder if there are limits on
what networks those virtual interfaces can be on?  Getting that answer for
sure would probably take a bit more than Luke Skywalker debugging...
