Well I tried taking it apart--took out every screw I could find, but I
couldn't get the case apart. Instead I did give it a few sharp breaths
through the exhaust port--a few chunks of dust did come flying out.
We'll see if that helped.
BTW, a handy tip I figured out doing this is, if you've accidentally
stripped out the screws on the bottom (like the little tiny ones for
the memory panel or something) so badly that a normal screwdriver
can't do it, try the "flat phillips" tool on a Leatherman multitool
(mine's a Squirt P4). It worked for me.
