[SLL] Laptop getting a bit warm

The internal fan could be dead. If so, you have to get it replaced.

You could also buy an under the laptop cooler and that can help
considerably. I have one for an old Dell PIII, and when I put it on top of
the cooler, the fan inside the laptop never goes on. Also the cooler props
it up on a nice angle for typing on the keyboard. I think part of the way it
works is that the bottom of the machine is off the table, and the cooler has
a couple of fans that blow air on the bottom. I like them because I figure
they will extend the life of the machine since heat is the enemy of
electronic devices.
