[SLL] Linux training

The optimum solution for a person who is already well versed in the
architecture of computer systems, which after all, have more in common than
in difference, might well be the self-study with some consulting
hand-holding to accelerate the process and provide help over the bumps.
Someone like Tim, or perhaps any of a number of the other gurus on this list
or otherwise located around here. Even one's who would take it on as an
evening project.

Ken, you're the man. Thanks for all the detailed input.

We're located in Bellevue and using Fedora (and some OpenBSD). I found a
class at Lake WA TC that I think will probably work. I could find any
upcoming classes at any of the Seattle CC locales and didn't like the looks
of Gatlin. Bellevue CC had some classes but none on any schedule.

In response to Bill's comments, he will have a machine or two which he can
use for practice and I have a fair library of books which he can use as
well. Of course Google is probably easiest.

  Thanks again everyone.
