[SLL] FedoraCore and Brother MFC-5460CN printers

I'm hoping someone on here has figured out or found an answer to this.

I have a Brother MFC-5460CN printer. They provide Linux drivers (both for
LPR and CUPS wrapper around the LPR) and do so under the GPL.

I went and installed them from the RPMs off of Brother's site.

After configuring everything, they run and there appears an error in the
output logs saying 'E [15/Jul/2007:20:55:51 -0700] [Job 290] No pages
found!
'

This happens pretty much no matter what I have tried, but turning on
debugging and such within the Brother filters
(/usr/lib/cups/filter/brlpdwrappermfc5460cn) showed that it was generating
the output postscript for delivery to the cups backend.

I'm stymied as to how to get this working so that I can print to this
printer.

Now, for the record, it works just fine to print to it from my windows box.

However, neither printing to it directly (as a network printer) NOR
printing to it as a shared SMB printer work from my linux box. All end up
with the 'No Pages found' error.

Having tried everything I could find, including the very few scraps found
via the great Ghod Ghoogle, I'm hoping someone else here has a solution
somewhere on getting this to work.

System is FC5 machine with SELinux disabled (this was noted as a necessary
thing on the Brother site -- their drivers wouldn't work with SELinux
enable, but I had it off already for other reasons).
