[SLL] (Semi OT) Read/Write LDAP address books for M$ OutLook?

Is there any way to get read/write access in M$ Outlook connecting to
openldap servers?

So far the only e-mail client I've found that has full read/write access to
openldap is horde/imp.  All the others I've tried are read/only including
Thunderbird, Apple's Address Book, and M$ Entourage on OS X.

To be really useful, it seems to me that openldap has to be easily
integrated into the mail client (e.g. able to automatically add address
from received e-mails and edit existing openldap address book info from the
desktop).
