*nods* What I used to do at Pogo, running on an Athlon, was run the 32-bit
 browser downloaded straight from Mozilla, and all the java and plugins and
 stuff along with it.  The rest of the box was just fine to leave 64-bit.
 Pain in the butt from a maintenance standpoint, but that was before Firefox
 got good at telling you there was an update (and downloading a brief patch
 rather than the whole nine megs again....)
