[SLL] Fake keyboard?

I'm putting Compaq computers running Linux into an embedded application,
where I don't need and don't want a keyboard or a monitor. My latest
batch of computers doesn't seem to have any way to disable the
keyboard, so that if there isn't one plugged in, the computer will
not boot up. Is there any way that I can fake out the computer
into thinking it has a keyboard, or otherwise get around this problem?
The computer boots up if a keyboard is present in either the PS/2
or the USB port.

I might have to buy wireless keyboards and throw away the keyboard!

Thanks

Rich
