Bookmarks are handled in a way that makes them extremely difficult
to utilize. I would say impossible.

That's not my point, exactly. There are ways to configure aspects
of the system, but it's difficult to do this. If it doesn't "need"
something it shouldn't be there at all.  I think the need is there, and
it's so far been inadequately addressed. I think the "shouldn't need
configuring" argument is bogus.

I guess what you say reinforces my point. The hardware was a lot more
ready than the software.
