Get a better mail client.  My client happily consumes the subject
changes and easily threads them in with the rest of the conversation.

In-Reply-To: <20070723164508.GA23904 at the-summit.net> is a very helpful header that one would hope google was processing instead of just relying upon the subject line.  Shame on google.
