[SLL] New Monitor

I do not know if this has any bearing, but on one installation of Ubuntu, I
had specified GDM for Gnone but when I changed it to KDM for KDE, it messed
up badly on me. I reinstalled it and if I made it consistent, it was
fine...I just made it GDM for both desktops. I do not know why it worked,
but it did.
