[SLL] Need MySQL expert

I need someone adept at dealing with a database move from MySQL 3.23.58 to
4.1.11. I suddenly have certain tables getting locked on UPDATEs which
never complete (and causing a runaway backlog of SELECTs and UPDATEs). It
seems to (possibly) involve corrupt indexes (which I've repaired a few
times). Willing to pay. Contact me off list. (I know there are other
places I can look, but this group matches most closely with the
environment I'm in.)
