[SLL] OT: TiVo thoughts?

what make/model did you get, and would you suggest that one again?
I'm thinking I like the Sony one.
Is there any difference really since it's the same OS right? It's more
cosmetics? I like the sony remote, and it would go with my other sony
equipment ;-)
have there been any software updates in the time you got yours? is it
automatic or do you have to go and get them?
