[SLL] ISP / DSL / Cable - Seattle area

The USWest DSL modem is an external router (Netspeed relabeled Cisco)
which comes with a 3c905_C_ NIC (the C uses a different driver than the
B). Just pop in the NIC (or use your own), get the updated driver from
CESDIS and do whatever routing your ISP tells you (usually briding mode,
so its pretty simple). This renders this setup completely OS-independant.

I believe cable modems work the same way..
